- Contact information — business name, contact name, email address, phone number, mailing address, and website, provided when you book a demo, sign up for service, or speak with a member of our sales team.
- Account information — once you become a customer, the information needed to administer your account (billing contact, payment method handled by our payment processor, service configuration).
- Communications — records of our interactions with you, including call notes logged by our sales reps, emails, and SMS messages exchanged through our platform.
- Technical information — standard server logs (IP address, user agent, pages visited, timestamps) collected automatically when you visit our website.
2. How we collect mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in
We collect mobile phone numbers when users provide them to a Vera AI sales representative during a phone, email, or in-person conversation, when users book a demo or request information through our website, or when an existing customer adds a contact to their account.
Before any SMS message is sent to a number, our sales representative records explicit opt-in consent in our customer relationship management system, including the date and time the consent was provided. Consent can be revoked at any time by replying STOP to any message we send, or by contacting us at the email address listed below.
SMS information sharing. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support of our services is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
3. How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and improve our services;
- Respond to inquiries, schedule demos, and follow up on sales conversations;
- Send transactional and account-related messages (including SMS messages to numbers that have opted in);
- Process payments and administer customer accounts;
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms of service;
- Protect the security and integrity of our platform.
4. SMS terms and message frequency
By providing your mobile number and opting in, you consent to receive SMS messages from Vera AI regarding demos, account information, and follow-ups from our sales team. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for assistance. After replying STOP, you will receive a one-time confirmation that no further messages will be sent from that sender.
5. How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:
- Service providers and subcontractors who help us operate our business — for example, our payment processor (Stripe), email delivery (Resend), SMS delivery (Twilio), scheduling (Cal.com), and database/hosting (Supabase, Vercel). These providers process information only on our behalf and are contractually bound to protect it.
- Legal compliance — when required by law, subpoena, or other valid legal process, or to protect our rights, property, or safety.
- Business transfers — if VeraVentures LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
As stated in Section 2, mobile information and SMS consent data are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes under any circumstances.
6. Data retention
We retain information for as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with legal obligations. You may request deletion of your information at any time by contacting us at the email address below. We will honor deletion requests except where we are required to retain records (for example, tax or accounting obligations).
7. Security
We use industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information, including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest, role-based access controls, and audit logging. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your rights

9. Children's privacy
